Good News: The Story of Mather School

Join the Swilley Library for a screening of the 1949 film Good News as restored by the American Baptist Historical Society, followed by a panel discussion, audience questions and a reception.

Mather was a Christian boarding school for black girls and women in Beaufort, SC, from 1867-1968. Good News follows one fictional student's life on campus.
